●Shukubo KANETSUNE: This is an independent space that is rented out exclusively for guests who are staying. All major facilities such as baths and toilets listed are included.
It is a 2-story building with a total floor area of approximately 100㎡.

It has a kitchen, living room, and toilet. We have a wide selection of cooking utensils, tableware, rice cookers and other cooking appliances, wine cellars, refrigerators, washing machines, and gas dryers. We provide bedding on the sofa, which can be used as an extra bed. We also have special amenities such as a large TV, high-end Bluetooth speaker, incense experience set, tea and coffee.

・King room: 1 king bed, desk space, bathroom (with bathtub), toilet, washroom, closet

There are two separate bedrooms, each with a bathroom (one with a bathtub and one with a shower room), so you can ensure your privacy even when traveling as a family or in a group.Each is equipped with a TV, closet, iron and safe. We provide carefully selected hair amenities such as Kazura Kiyo Honpo's camellia oil shampoo and conditioner.

The separate building is a multipurpose space that requires an additional reservation if you wish to use it.

We offer a variety of cultural experiences and dinners with our own chef, so please inquire separately if you would like to use this space.

□Common space for guests and temple visitors

●Temple passages, gardens, and other grounds

This is a common space used by temple visitors, cultural experience users, and temple administrators. The temple is closed to the public, so you are not allowed to enter. Thank you for your understanding.

Hotel buffet 3,800 yen per person.
At a well-known hotel next to the accommodation. An additional fee applies, and advance reservation before check-in  is required.

●Maximum of 1 car in the parking lot of the facility 1,000 yen/day.
Reservations are required.

●Cleaning during the stay 30,000 yen
Change of sheets, towels, bathrobes and pajamas, garbage collection, housekeeping service (simple cleaning) ※In addition, a vacuum cleaner and changeable sheets are available at the facility for guests to clean themselves.

●In addition, we can arrange car charters, restaurant reservations, and private dinners at the facility's ICHIFUNE restaurant.


[About the provision of bedding according to the number of guests and the price for children]

The optimal number of guests is 4 people. All bedrooms are available for up to 4 people. If 5 people are staying, additional bedding will be provided on the 1st floor sofa. The king bed in the 2nd floor king room can accommodate 3 people.
Children under 6 years old (5 years old and under) are free of charge, but no bedding or amenities will be provided. This will be considered a shared bed and will not be counted as the number of guests staying. If you require bedding for one person, it will be for one adult.

●Shukubo KANETSUNE: Freely accessible, only for guests who are staying.
●Temple: No one is allowed to enter the temple.
●The multi-purpose space (cafeteria ICHIFUNE), temple walkways, gardens, and other grounds are shared spaces.
For safety reasons, there are limited times in the garden where you can enter and areas where entry is prohibited.

Accessible hours: Daytime (spring/summer 6:00-18:00, fall/winter 7:00-17:00)
Restricted area: Entrance is allowed up to just before the bridge over the pond, and please do not wallk across over bamboo barricade barrier.




A specialized customer attendant will support guests during their travel. If you have any requests, we are happy to assist you.



【About check-in and check-out】
(Check-in)
We will be waiting for you on the day of your arrival. Please notify us of your arrival at least one week to two days prior to your arrival. Please note that if you notify us at the last minute on the day of your arrival, you may need to wait for us to meet you.

Check-in time is from 16:00 to 21:00. ※If you wish to drop off your luggage earlier, we start accepting luggage and handing over keys from 11:30 AM. If the cleaning has been completed, you may stay from that time. 

(Check-out)
Check-out is a self-service process
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. We do not keep luggage after check out.
Please give us at least one week's notice.

◆ Late Check-In Information
We sincerely apologize, but we cannot accept check-ins after 9:00 PM as stated. If you wish to check in late, we charge an additional fee of 5,000 yen for every 30 minutes starting from 9:00 PM. We do not handle late check-ins unless in emergencies, and additional staff must be arranged for overtime after 9:00 PM, so we appreciate your understanding.

We ask for your understanding for the sake of our employees' working conditions and health.

◆As you will be staying at a facility that includes cultural properties and designated scenic spots, please agree to the guidelines before staying.

・There are spaces for guests only, common spaces, and restricted areas, so please 
follow the rules.
・On the day of check-in, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how to use the common facilities of the cultural property temple and how to use the various facilities that you should be especially careful about, so the procedure will take about 30 minutes. Thank you for your understanding.

- Regarding the garden, please observe the hours of entry and restricted areas.
・The garden has been designated as a ''designated scenic spot'' by Kyoto City. Please refrain from wearing high heels or other footwear to protect the moss and plants.
・Photography is not allowed at designated scenic spots. Please refrain from entering the garden and taking pictures of the scenery of temples, etc. A garden is something that only those who actually visit can experience and remember. Thank you for your understanding. It is possible to take photos through the dining room window.

・Thank you for your understanding regarding small animals and insects. The garden is full of nature and is home to small animals and insects (bees, spiders, flies, cockroaches, birds, mice, mosquitoes, moles, etc.). We appreciate your understanding and please do not leave the windows open while staying.

・If you wish to have a dinner with a chef at the ICHIFUNE restaurant, please let us know in advance. The kitchen equipment in the cafeteria is special and requires a preliminary inspection. Please note that we cannot respond to sudden requests. If you would like us to invite a chef to host a dinner for you, please contact us. 

・Cultural properties are highly susceptible to fire spread, so firearms and smoking are prohibited.

◆We ask for your cooperation in behaving in a manner typical of Kyoto and maintaining good morals during your stay.

・Please refrain from activities such as sitting and drinking or eating at the outdoor main gate or shared temple areas, outdoor smoking, and making excessive noise or engaging in loud activities.
・If the facility manager determines that the accommodation is not suitable for your stay, you may be asked to check out immediately.
・If someone other than the guest enters the property without permission, we will cooperate with the police and take strict action.
・Please help us sort garbage into the four types. Kyoto City has strict garbage separation rules. We will explain this to you on the day of your arrival, so we appreciate your cooperation.
・Please be careful not to throw the garbage at local community garbage collection sites.

◆Others
・When going out, be sure to lock the doors and windows.
・We do not store valuables, so please take care of them yourself.
・Please turn off the air conditioner and gas when you leave the room.
・The facility will not be cleaned during your stay. If you wish, please let us know in advance. This will be done while the customer is out. 
We have a vacuum cleaner and replacement sheets available for you to carry out yourself.
・You cannot stay with pets. If you wish to bring a service dog or guide dog with you, please contact us in advance.
・Please check the accommodation terms and conditions in the guidelines that will be sent to you after making your reservation. Your stay will begin with your consent.
